Meet Our Behavioral Health Clinicians

Laura E. Davis, LICSW comes to 银河彩票计划 with 27 years of social work clinical experience. Laura graduated from Rhode Island College School for Social Work with a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1996. She has lived and practiced social work throughout the United States and has been practicing social work in Franklin County, Massachusetts for the past 13 years. Laura has worked in urban as well as rural outpatient mental health settings serving children, teens and adults of all ages from diverse racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Laura is trained in EMDR, CBT, DBT, Sandtray and Play Therapy.

Brian Condon is a person in long term recovery from substance use disorder with eight years of sustained abstinence. “Recovery is defined in the dictionary as “a return to a normal state of health, mind, or strength.” That’s great if you have a broken leg, but in recovery from substance use disorder, why go backward when you go forward? I personally define recovery as seizing the opportunity to grow as a person, reach towards your own goals, while becoming healthier and happier than ever before.” A recovery coach serves as someone with lived experience who truly listens, without judgment, or telling a person what to do. A coach asks questions to help the individual choose their own goals and pathway to recovery and provides support and helps celebrates success. Brian began as a volunteer with the Turning Point of Windham County peer recovery center in Brattleboro, VT before becoming employed as a recovery coach and group facilitator. He was also an instructor at the Vermont Recovery Coach Academy before being employed as the project manager on a SAMHSA funded Pathways to Recovery Project, collaborating with the then new Vermont hub-and-spoke model of care for opioid use disorder. Most recently Brian has worked during the past four years a clinician/counselor at one of the hub clinics in Brattleboro, VT.
